The Gaza Palestinian American Association Launches Gaza Victims Speaking Tour to Amplify Palestinian Voices

The Gaza Palestinian American Association (GPAA) is proud to announce the launch of the Gaza Speakers Bureau, an initiative aimed at uniting a group of 50 Palestinian-American speakers with family ties in Gaza for a speaking tour across different American cities and towns.

The Gaza Speakers Bureau seeks to shed light on the hardships endured by Palestinians in Gaza as a result of Israel’s ongoing genocide These discussions will be candid, genuine, heartbreaking, and inspiring, aiming to make the struggles of Palestinians in Gaza more relatable to American audiences.

The speakers come from a variety of backgrounds, from tech to medicine, engineering to art, cooking to advocacy, humanitarian fields to finance, academia to campus activism, and fundraising to religious sermons. Some of those speakers have had numerous of their family members killed by Israel or their homes destroyed by Israel and turned to rubble. Many still have loved ones who are still missing buried under the rubble.

The Gaza Speakers Bureau will bring Palestinian voices to American cities and towns with limited exposure to Palestinian American voices, as well as areas expressing interest in the Palestinian cause. Working with local media, the tour seeks to ensure a broader audience hears about it. In addition, provides a platform for these important narratives to integrate the stories and experiences of Gaza into the American narrative, challenging prevailing media portrayals.

Locations: Speaking engagements will be held at universities, colleges, schools, places of worship, open mic spaces, city councils, state capitals, and other relevant venues. The goal is to maximize reach by having events at venues that will attract the largest audiences.

Organizational Partnerships: The GPAA will spearhead this initiative, collaborating with established American entities to provide crucial support in terms of funding, logistics, and booking arrangements.

The speaker lineup will reflect the diverse demographics of Gaza, including representation from men, women, Muslims, and Christians.

The Gaza Speakers Bureau represents a vital opportunity to amplify the voices of those directly affected by the crisis in Gaza and foster meaningful dialogue and understanding across American communities. Through personal narratives and firsthand accounts, the tour endeavors to humanize the Gaza conflict and advocate for lasting peace and justice in the region.
